Sir,
I have the honour to confirm my telegrams
10) of the 28th and 30th of September, 1931, reporting
the outbreak of serious anti-Japanese riots in the
Colony, and to enclose for your information the
copy of a statement which I made in Legislative
Council on the 1st of October, indicating the
position at that date.
2. A full account of this unfortunate
occurrence will be forwarded as soon as it is
possible for this to be prepared.
